The Capital Ring Walk is a circular route around London that is divided into 15 easy-to-walk sections between Woolwich and Becton District Park. Overall, the Capital Ring covers 78 miles of open space, nature reserves and more.
We are aiming to walk all the stages of this route as part of our WI Winter Walks. Members, family and friends can join us for all the stages or drop in on individual walks as they prefer.
Stage 8 of the Capital Ring Walk takes us from Osterley Lock to Greenford. Along the way we will see the Grand Union Canal, the River Brent, Wharncliffe Viaduct and Brent Lodge Park.
