Federation Events and Workshops

Federation events are for members only, unless otherwise stated. If you would like to attend any of these events or workshops, please contact Caroline or speak to her at a meeting and she will send off the application form for the total number of tickets required.

All events and workshops have a deadline for applications and places are not allocated until after that date (it is not first come first served).  You will need to pay Sue, our treasurer, once you have been allocated your ticket as our WI will then be billed. Please note that you will need to pay for any tickets ordered, even if for any reason you cannot attend.

Some craft workshops also have a fee for materials payable to the tutor on the day.

Events in September

Autumn Walk

A 2-mile or 5-mile walk for members and non-members.

Date and venue: Saturday 21st September – National Trust Visitor Centre Cobham

Time: Start times between 11.30am and 1pm

Cost: Adults £6 / Under 12’s £4

Closing date: 31st July


Festive Cards in Watercolour Workshops

A workshop for members who already have their own equipment.

Dates and venues:

Time: 10am – 3.30pm

Cost: £22.50 + £5 for kit payable on the day

Drama Workshop – Panto Play Time!

One day drama workshop working then performing in small groups on a mini panto

Date and venue: Monday 16th September – The Howard Venue, Hextable

Time: 10am – 3.30pm

Home Economics Autumn Lunch

Ploughman’s Lunch and dessert, followed by a talk from Sarah Rogers of Riverhill House about the developments with the gardens, including the restoration of the Edwardian Rock Garden

Date and venue: Tuesday 24th September – Snodland Community centre, Snodland

Time: Doors open 12 noon for lunch at 12.30pm

West Kent Federation Visit to Denman (members should apply themselves)
